COVID-19 Policy

We understand that COVID-19 remains a very real concern, even as we return to in-person activities. At YMUNT, we want to ensure that all delegates are safe when they attend our conference and therefore will implement public health policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Every member of the YMUN Taiwan Secretariat team is required to be fully vaccinated, which means that they must have their original vaccination in addition to two booster shots. All team members will be tested before traveling to Taiwan and before the conference. Finally, we will be following all of Taiwan’s COVID-related protocols.

In order to ensure the safety of all delegates, please adhere to the following public health guidelines:

  • All participants attending the conference in person must wear a mask throughout the day

  • Participants are not required to be vaccinated for COVID-19, but we do recommend that in-person delegates be vaccinated

  • Participants should monitor their health during the conference and should refrain from attending the conference if they have COVID-19 symptoms (fever, respiratory issues, or diarrhea or whose sense of smell is impaired)

  • All participants should get a COVID test 1-2 days prior to the start of the conference (though this is not mandatory)

We will abide by all guidelines dictated by the Taiwanese government, and therefore may update our policy if those requirements or recommendations change.
