ENOCH WU 吳怡農

Enoch Wu is the Founder of Forward Alliance, a Taiwanese NGO. Forward Alliance’s flagship program, Forward Volunteers, provides crisis response training for community-level organizations, empowering civilian volunteers to play a direct role in enhancing Taiwan's social resilience.

Mr. Wu served on Taiwan’s National Security Council from 2017 to 2019 where his portfolio included homeland security and critical infrastructure protection. Prior to joining the National Security Council, Mr. Wu worked in the Premier’s Office and led an executive branch interagency task force reviewing Taiwan’s protective security policies for government affairs.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Wu spent a decade in the financial industry, where he was based primarily in Hong Kong. Mr. Wu graduated from Yale University in 2003 with a B.A. in economics. He is a reserve NCO under the R.O.C. Taiwan Army Special Forces Command.
