Yes! However, if you are a minor (under 18 years of age) you will need an adult (18+ years of age) advisor present. We encourage that you attend as a group delegation (friends, class, school...) and share an advisor.

Any non-delegate over the age of 18 can act as an advisor for a delegation, including parents and siblings.

Paid delegations will be sent a form to fill out their preferred choice committees and countries on January 1st, 2026. The form should only be filled out once per delegation.

The YMUNT secretariat will take preferences from the form into consideration when assigning countries and committees. Assignments will be released in February.

Timeline:

January 1st, 2026:

• Committee and Country preference forms available for PAID delegations.

January 15th, 2026: 

• Registration Ends and Payments Due (Financial Aid Excluded).

January 31st, 2026: 

• Committee and Country preference forms due (if your school will be on winter break during this time, please complete your preference form before your students leave for break).

February 2026

• Committee and Country assignments for regular registration paid delegates are released  (if your school will be on winter break during this time, please ensure to look back in your inbox for this email)

March 1st, 2026

• Delegate names & position assignments due

• Position Papers due for feedback

Unfortunately YMUNT does not allow double delegates. Delegates may sign up to be in the same delegation together, but each delegate must represent their own country.
